This article explains how to configure the radiology service so the system generates and displays an accession number on the Diagnostic Examination Result screen. The accession number will only appear when the IHS Service is enabled.

An accession number is a unique identifier automatically generated for each radiology examination.
Format: {PatientID}{YYMMDD}{Sequence}
Example: If Patient ID = 12345, date = 28 Aug 2025, sequence = 001, accession number = 123450825001.
SERVICE_CODE (XRAY, CT, USG, MRI).

Note: The accession number will not be generated or displayed if IHS Service is disabled.

Go to the Reference Data → search for SERVICE_CODE and confirm the following entries exist. If missing, create them:
| Service | en | id | fr |
|---|---|---|---|
| XRAY | X-Ray | X-Ray | Radiographie |
| CT | CT Scan | CT Scan | Tomodensitométrie |
| USG | Ultrasound | USG | Échographie |
| MRI | MRI | MRI | IRM |

XRAY).
Perform a sample radiology examination (or use a test patient) and open the Diagnostic Examination Result screen.
